Year 2009

In Fall 2009 I have taken Basic Swimming Course at Cetus Club in Espoo, Finland. It consisted of 10 lessons, one lesson per week. Before taking the course I was only able to swim breast stroke. After this course I can swim crawl, back-stroke, and even attempt butterfly!
During warm part of year 2009 I have been running a lot. Mostly those were half-marathons, either as a part of competition or just timed runs. I have run 1 marathon which was the goal of three year training.

Year 2008

In Spring 2008 I started tracking number of visits to the swimming pool. When it is cold outside swimming is preferrable to jogging.

Year 2007

In Summer 2007 I was training near Dzerzhinsk, Russia. Here is the map of the course. The length is 4 miles. Personal record: 31 minutes, 7:30 per mile pace.
